Wingback is Tom Dixon’s much appreciated sofa with its expressive sweeping curves that act as a sculptural intervention. This sofa is uphosltered using Bute’s beige woolen fabric and features black legs. The wings provide convenient acoustic protection for mobile phone use and a headrest for quick snoozes.

Inspired by traditional 17th Century Wingback and balloon-back archetypes, the sofa was originally developed for Shoreditch House Members Club. Wingbacks recognisable silhouette is formed through a hard sculptural foam shell concealing a steel frame with modelled plywood base. It is then covered with cut foam and given a pocket-sprung seat cushion for maximum comfort. The collection is available in a wide range of colours and fabrics. Available with five leg options: Black, Natural, Chrome and Black.
