This is a OE style direct Electrolux Epic 6500 replacement vacuum hose, which has a two way switch, suction control, and wand release button on the hose handle. There are two female electrical contacts inside the hose handle to accept the wand electrical contacts. If your hose has a leak or a cut, they you will need to update the hose to get full suction from the vacuum.
