The hunt for a whimsical light fixture-cum-conversation starter is over: Northern Lightings Moo wall light will net you glowing accolades whether mounted over the fireplace mantel or on any wall in any room, just for fun! Designed by Trond Svendgrd and Ove Rogne, they call their poly-resin light fixture a post-modern kitsch trophy. The word trophy is certainly apropos, as the design was inspired by the King of the Norwegian Forests, the moose that wander through the breathtaking scenery of Hamaroy. Both designers have summer homes in this swath of forestland where they often see moose sauntering over their lawns. Just glad they thought of putting a light in it!
